Abstract
While there have been many studies showing positive effects of cash transfers on a variety of outcomes, there has been less research on the dynamic effects. This report summarizes evidence from an evaluation which attempts to fill this gap. The evaluation is of a randomized cash transfer program with households in 300 villages each in Liberia and Malawi, two of the poorest countries in the world.
