Abstract
According to an OECD report, 66.4 % of India's population was in their working age in 20181 . We define the working-age population as those aged 15 to 64 (this indicator measures the share of the working-age population in the total population). The world faces a shortage of approximately 56.5 million skilled workers, while India is estimated to have a surplus of 47 million2 . India has the demographic dividend to supply a skilled workforce to the rest of the world. Formal skilling and certification can enhance an individual's employability, market value, and social recognition
